A will is a legal document in which you can leave your assets to loved ones according to certain conditions. Not all wills are valid however; Florida requires oral, not written forms for its residents’ Islands.
The term “deathbed will” is frequently used to describe a nuncupative will. For those whose health or life expectancy is in jeopardy due to illness or injury, a nuncupative will is the best option. Oral wills, such as nuncupative wills, date back to a time before written documents were commonplace and needed by law to be valid. They look very similar to deathbed confessions and the tradition of leaving property to those who witnessed the final moments of a person’s life.
